Airtel and Micromax to offer 1 year free 4G data with Canvas 2

Airtel and Micromax has announced their partnership for the Micromax Canvas 2 smartphone, the telecom giant will offer one year of 4G service unlong with unlimited calling to the Canvas 2 buyers.

Speaking on the launch Shubhajit Sen, Chief Marketing Officer, Micromax said “Micromax Canvas 2 will come with one year of unlimited Airtel to Airtel calling, unlimited data at no extra cost for both existing and new Airtel customers.”

Micromax Canvas 2 buyers will get 1GB of 4G data every day from Airtel. Users can also avail 400 minutes of calling per day on any local network, with a weekly limit of 1,500 minutes. Micromax Canvas 2 will be sold only through offline retail channel.

Specifications wise, the smartphone runs on a MediaTek quad core chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card. The company also plans to launch 15 more smartphone in the same price bracket in the coming days.
