All india Radio closed in India

The government has decided to close all India Radio offices in five states of india including Kerala. The All India Radio is functioning with Delhi headquarters.

In first time the radio service launched in 1936 has been operating a number of branches across the country for nearly 80 years.

The Union Government has announced that it will close all India Radio in Trivandrum state of kerala, Shillong state of meghalaya,Ahmedabad from Gujarat’s state, Hyderabad from Telangana’s and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.
