Bank strike in Tamilnadu & puducherry

Bank employees in Puducherry were engaged in demonstrations as bank officials across the country were protesting against opposition to joining Public Sector banks and demanding wage increases.

The All India Bank staff members gathered near the collectorate office in Chennai.

They insisted that the decision to link public sector banks was against ordinary people and the central government should abandon the decision.Bank staffs also protested in Puducherry. As the Bharatiya State Bank was in the forefront, they raised slogans to demand wage increases and public sector banks.
