Chennai-Salem 8 road project verdict released by HC

The High Court ruled that the Tamil Nadu government has not acquired land for Chennai-Salem 8 road project.

The Tamil Nadu government has acquired lands for the last few months in the Central Government’s 8th order. A case has been filed in the High Court as the farmers expressed strong opposition to this action by the Tamil Nadu government.

Just before the judgment of the case, the Tamil Nadu Government has not ruled out the land acquisition of the Chennai-Salem 8 road project.
