CM extended medical insurance scheme

Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy has ordered to increase the insurance cover to Rs 5 lakh per annum under the Chief Minister’s comprehensive medical insurance scheme which is now Rs 2 lakhs.

According to the report released by the Chief Minister, 26 lakh 96 thousand beneficiaries have been benefitted by the comprehensive medical insurance scheme.

The Chief Minister pointed out that the demands were made to increase the insurance sum up to Rs 2 lakh which is currently being offered to the beneficiaries for various medical treatments.
