Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is a former Indian international cricketer and a former captain of the Indian national team, Widely regarded as the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket.

Tendulkar was born at Nirmal Nursing Home in Dadar, Bombay on 24 April 1973 to a Maharashtrian Rajapur Saraswat Brahmin family.
