Russian president Vladimir Putin declared state of emergency after the leakage of 20000 tonnes of oil takes place during the fuel tank shifting in power plant get collapsed in Siberian city of Norilsk on friday.

Oleg Mitvol, former deputy head of Russia’s Environmental watchdog Rosprirodnadzor, said that there had never been such an accident in the arctic zone.

Mitvol said that it would take between 5 -10 years and 100 billion roubles ( $1.5 billion) for clean up process.
