HC dismissed petitions for postpone Elections

The Chennai High Court dismissed 3 petitions to postpone the Elections in madurai for the Madurai festival.

The Lok Sabha and Assembly elections were announced on April 18 in Tamil Nadu. The welfare of the Chairperson was filed in the High Court that the date of the ceremony was held on Madurai

The Election Commission responded that the trial of the Chidambaram could not be postponed to the polls and allowed him to vote till 8 pm.
