Jaguar Land Rover come up with the new contact less touchscreen along with automaker and the university of Cambridge which ensures the driver’s safety by avoiding the spread of viruses and bacteria considering the novel corona virus. this technology is called as ‘ Predictive touch’, which uses artificial intelligence and sensors to assume user’s intended target on the touchscreen , whether it may be a satellite navigation,temperature controls, or entertainment features can be accessed without touching a button .

This new facility is developed by the engineers at the university of Cambridge, likely to be a part of Jaguar Land Rover’s Destination Zero Vision . the gesture tracker uses vision based or radio frequency based sensors, which is most common in consumer electronics , used to combine contextual information such as user profile,interface design, and environmental conditions with data available from other sensors , such as eye-gaze tracker, to read the user’s intent in real time .
