According to recent reports,  Bollywood actress Kajol, is in talks to play an important role in Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattathari Part 2 which will be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and bankrolled by Thanu.

The 42-year old actress is said to have got impressed by the script and has given her consent to act in the Tamil movie. But it is not clear whether Kajol has formally signed the project papers. 

Kajol is not new to Tamil cinema, she played the leading lady in the evergreen Minsara Kanavu almost 19 years back.

An official confirmation regarding this is still awaited!
