After conducting a meeting with doctors and corporation officers, Chief minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami has announced that the lockdown will be extended till October 31 with the same restrictions which has been followed earlier along with the new ease of restrictions. As number of new Covid cases has not deflated in it’s state, lockdown has been extended in Tamil Nadu. following are the ease for this new lockdowns:

Tea shops and other stores are allowed to open from morning 6.00 am to 9.00 pm, parcel services can be done until 10.00 pm .

Cinema shooting must contain no more than 100 members and visitors are not to be allowed in the shooting spot.

Government and government aided institutions are allowed to work by following the guidelines from the government.

The early announcement from government stating that , Students studying 10,11,12 can go to school from oct 1 has been cancelled and chief minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami cancels that decision as it is not safe to make such meetings that too in students life.
