New Chief Justice of Chennai Orissa & Jharkhand

Justice VK Tahilramani, Acting Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court has been appointed to take over as Chief Justice of the Madras High Court in place of Justice Indira Banerjee, who has been elevated to the Supreme Court.

Justice Aniruddha Bose of the Calcutta High Court has been appointed the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court. As stated in the notification issued by the Government.
