Public exams mandatory for class 5, 8th students

Tamilnadu government announces public exams for students from 5th to 8th. The Government of India announced the amendment to the Free and Compulsory Education Act for the general and 5th and 8th grade students in schools across the country.

As the announcement came out last month, the Central Government said that the respective state governments may decide on implementing the project.

In this regard, the school education department has announced that the general public exams will be conducted for the students of the 5th and 8th grade students in all the elementary, middle, and matriculation schools in Tamil Nadu.
