RBI new governor appointed

The new governor of the Reserve Bank has been appointed today.In earlier the governor of the Reserve Bank, Urjitpatel, resigned as the current position and said that he was resigning for personal reasons.

It was reported that Vishwanathan, the new deputy governor of the Reserve Bank, could be appointed as new deputy governor.

In this case, Shaktikanta Das has been appointed as the 25th new Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
