The Indian School of Mines (ISM) has released an employment notification inviting interested, eligible candidates to apply for the positions of Research Associate, Project Assistant and Supporting Staff.

Educational qualification:

Research Associate: Candidates interested in applying for this post should have pursued BTech/BE in mining engineering with MTech in mining engineering/mine planning ND design/rock excavation engineering/tunnelling and underground space technology/rock mechanics

Or

BTech/BE in civil engineering with MTech in tunnelling and underground space technology/rock mechanics or BTech/BE in mechanical engineering with MTech in machine design/manufacturing engineering/production engineering with minimum 60 per cent marks.

Project Assistant: The candidates interested in applying for this post should have pursued BTech/BE in mining engineering or Btech/BE in civil engineering or BTech/BE in mechanical engineering or MSc/MSc technology in applied geology with minimum 60 per cent marks.

Supporting Staff: Candidates interested in applying for this post should have pursued diploma in mining engineering with minimum 60 per cent marks or 6 CGPA on a 10 point scale.

Age limit:

The age of the candidates applying for these posts must not exceed 30 years.

Pay scale:

Research Associate: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 36,000.

Project Assistant: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 16,000.

Supporting Staff: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 12,000.

Selection procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of an interview.
