Saina Nehwal badminton ace’s biopic

After garnering immense appreciation for her latest quirky drama ‘Stree’, Shraddha Kapoor is all set to treat her fans with the biopic on Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal.

The actress has released her first look of Shraddha as Saina. In the picture, that seems to be a still from the film, the ‘Aashiqui 2’ actor can be seen donning the sportswear, holding a racket and pumping her fists after winning.

Talking about recreating the Indian shuttler’s journey, the ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ actor said, “To get an insight into the life of a sportsperson is fascinating. Saina’s journey itself is so interesting, right from her misses to her injuries and victories”.
