Silamboli Chellappan passed away

The elderly Tamil scholar Silamboli Chellappan passed away today, due to the bad health condition.

He was 91 years old. He was born in Sivayampalayam in Namakkal district and has been involved in inspection studies for 60 years. He has written and published 25 books in this regard.

He has been awarded various awards including Tamil Nadu Government’s Pavender Award, Tamil Nadu Government’s Pavender Award, Muthumalayagara Artist Award, Malaysian Tamil Film Award, and Director of the Tamil University and Director of World Tamil Nadu.
