Special buses operated for Pongal festival

24,708 special buses would be operated for Pongal festival, Transport minister MR. Vijayabaskar has said.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai, he said special buses would be operated on january 11,12,13,14 for the festival of pongal. This is from Chennai

He said 14263 buses would be operated only in chennai and overall states nearly 24708 buses would be operated. Special buses will be operated from Madhavaram, Tambaram Mepsk, KK Nagar and Koyambedu.
