‘Vada Chennai’ International Film Festival

Renowned director-writer-producer Vetrimaaran’s latest film Vada Chennai will have its world premiere in the Gala section at the second Pingyao Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon International Film Festival.

Initiated by leading Chinese auteur Jia Zhangke, with former artistic head of Locarno, Venice and Rome Film festivals, Marco Mueller as its artistic director, the PYIFF will be held in the ancient city of Pingyao in Shanxi province of China from October 28 to November 4.

The festival will also feature the Asian premiere of Ivan Ayr’s Soni in the Crouching Tigers section devoted to first and second films of young filmmakers.
