At 20 years and nine months, Madappa became the youngest Indian pro to win an international title.
A little over a year after turning professional, golfer Viraj Madappa won his maiden professional title at the Take Solutions Masters on the Asian Tour, in Bengaluru on Sunday.
Madappa carded 4-under 67 to get to 16-under, while four players, Zimbabwe’s Scott Vincent (68), Argentina’s Miguel Carballo (71) and the Thai duo Suradit Yongcharenchai (66) and Danthai Boonma (70) shared the second place at 14-under.
