In  Delhi demanding the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister Manish  Sisodia  the BJP is about to hold protests .  It’s  against the Aam Aadmi  Party  (AAP) ‘s  now shelved liquor policy. Regarding the resignation of  both ,Health Minister Satyendar Jain and  Manish Sisodia  on moral grounds the BJP’s Delhi Unit president Adesh Gupta has his own  views. He said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal must seek the resignation of  these two people.  “Those responsible for drowning Delhi in liquor and collaborating with the liquor mafia must be investigated for corruption worth crores of rupees,” said Gupta. At Janpath,  Gupta will hold a protest at ITO and leader of opposition  Ramvir Bidhuri.  At other places like Welcome, Model Town, Rohini, Moti Bagh, Milap Nagar, Mayapuri, and Ramesh Nagar, there will be protests.  Many raids were conducted at various places connected to Sisodia ,  including his residence. On August 19 it was carried by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The charges of correction in the liquor policy is against Sisodia  who oversees the excise department, faces charges of corruption in the liquor policy.  The AAP has refuted charges which has been engaged in a verbal battle with the BJP over the raids.  In connection with the alleged excise scam, raids were conducted in seven states and around 31 places in Delhi-NCR.  A First Information Report (FIR) has been  filed in the case. It has named 15 suspects including Sisodia .  On May 30 under criminal sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA)  Jain was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case.  He is currently in jail ,his judicial custody was extended.
