Another messaging app on its way: Squirrel from Yahoo,for group messaging. Currently, it is in testing mode and is listed on Google Play and iOS App store. It is an invite-only app for now (you need an invite from someone already using it). Squirrel helps users to organise their groups and chats in the way they want. There are separate rooms for specific people and topics. Conversations in the main room are for group-wide announcements and banter. Users can opt for secret rooms for private chats with people they know. There are also some features like a one-tap reaction for the group, or “blasts” that make sure everyone in the group sees important messages.
