Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT)-Jaipur has released an official notification inviting all the interested, eligible candidates for admissions into Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme offered in various disciplines.

• Engineering

• Humanities and Social Sciences

• Management and Applied Sciences (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics)

All the eligible candidates are requested to apply through a prescribed format latest by December 7.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

PhD in engineering programme:  All the candidates interested in applying for this programme need to possess a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) not below 6.5 on a 10-point scale from a recognised university/institute.

PhD in Management programme: All the candidates interested in applying need to possess a degree in Master of Business Administration (MBA) /Master of Technology (MTech) with CGPA not below 6.5 on a 10-point scale or 60 per cent (where CGPA is not awarded).

Selection process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test or interview.

A Statement of Purpose (SOP) including research idea should not more than 300 words, need to be attached with the application form. This SOP will have due weightage during process of screening/selection.

SC/ST: Rs 500
