Now, the actress has started shooting for her first-ever item song, which will appear in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. The commercial entertainer, directed by Sukumar, will release in theatres on December 17.

SAMANTHA STARTS SHOOTING FOR HER SPECIAL SONG IN PUSHPA

On October 2, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced that they are heading for a divorce. They ended their four-year marriage due to irreconcilable differences. Many unconfirmed reports suggested that Naga Chaitanya imposed strict rules on her, which was one of the main reasons behind the divorce. However, neither Samantha nor Naga Chaitanya shared details behind their divorce.

After her split with Naga Chaitanya, Samantha took a break from work for a few months. She has now resumed work and has started shooting for the item song in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa. A huge set has been erected at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad where the shooting will take place.

Reportedly, the song will be shot over five days. The peppy song is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

SAMANTHA AND NAGA CHAITANYA HEAD FOR A DIVORCE

Samantha was accused of having extra-marital affairs and abortions by many YouTube channels. The actress took to social media to share a statement rubbishing the rumours. She said that none of these baseless accusations will break her.

Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna, took to social media to react to their divorce. He said that whatever happened between Chay and Sam was unfortunate. The Bangaraju actor also added that he will always cherish the times he spent with Samantha.
