Arya will be teaming up with his Teddy director Shakti Soundar Rajan for an untitled film that is going on floors today. The film has a multi-star cast that includes Aishwarya Lekshmi of Jagame Thandhiram fame and Simran.
Talking to CT, the director says, “This film will be in the action sci-fi genre. We have been doing the pre-production work on this film for the past nine months as it is being made on a big scale.”

On teaming up with Arya for a second time, he says, “Interestingly, this is my sixth film, and I have done two films with every hero I’ve worked with so far. I did two films with Sibi, two with Jayam Ravi and now, this will mark my second film with Arya. I share a good rapport with my artistes, and that’s what is the fuel that keeps me going.”
Aishwarya Lekshmi is playing the female lead while Simran and Kannada heroine Kavya Shetty will be seen in key roles. Actors Harish Uthaman, Gokul Anand (who played the lead in Chennai 2 Singapore) and Bharath Raj are also part of the movie.

The film, which will be shot in Chennai, Malaysia, Gangtok, Munnar and Ooty, will have the director’s usual team — music director D Imman, cinematographer S Yuva and editor Pradeep E Raghav.
