From Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor to Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan; many Bollywood celebrities have recently invested in real estate. A few days back, actor and producer Ajay Devgn made headlines after it was reported that he has purchased a new property in Mumbai’s Juhu area. 

The actor currently resides in his bungalow Shiv Shakti with his family and the new property is not far from his present home.  Reportedly, the bungalow is spread across 474.4 square meters and has a constructed area of around 6,500 sq ft carpet. It has apparently been purchased for Rs 47.5 crore.

As per a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, Ajay has taken a loan of Rs 18.75 for his new bungalow. The same report also stated that the deal took place in November-December last year, following which the property was transferred in the joint name of Ajay and his mother Veena Virendra Devgn on May 7. The bungalow is situated in the Kapole Co-operative Housing Society.

The report further stated that Ajay paid a stamp duty of Rs 2.73 crore on the deal. While the property was purchased on December 29 last year, the loan was taken on April 27. The area where Ajay has purchased his new property is home to many Bollywood A-listers. 

Previously, another report had stated that Ajay has purchased his new property for Rs 60 crore. 

Meanwhile, Ajay is married to actress Kajol and the two are doting parents to their kids Nysa and Yug. Nysa Devgn, who has become a social media sensation, is currently pursuing her education in Singapore at the United World College of South East Asia.

On the movie front, Ajay has many interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor will have cameo appearances in Akshay Kumar-starrer Sooryavanshi and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. The actor will also be seen in S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR.

He will also be headlining Bhuj: The Pride of India and will be seen in the role of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. The movie will also star Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar and Ammy Virk in important roles. 

Not just this, the actor will also be wearing the director’s hat for Mayday, in which he will be starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. Fans have also been waiting for his upcoming sports drama, Maidaan. The film is being helmed by Amit Sharma and will see Ajay as a football coach.
