The first looks of Akshay Kumar, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan from their upcoming film, Atrangi Re, have been unveiled. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film will release on Disney+Hotstar on December 24. Akshay announced that Atrangi Re’s trailer will be shared on November 24.

ATRANGI RE CHARACTER POSTERS OUT

In September, Akshay Kumar had revealed that Atrangi Re might release on OTT. Now, it’s confirmed that the film will release on Disney+Hotstar on December 24. The first looks of the characters played by Akshay, Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan have also been revealed. The film’s tagline read, “A love called madness”.

Sharing his character poster from Atrangi Re, Akshay wrote, “An Atrangi story about the madness of love. Adding magic to this story, yours truly! #AtrangiRe Trailer out tomorrow on @disneyplushotstar (sic).”

Introducing Dhanush’s character, Akshay wrote, “Meet iss love story ka Atrangi No.2, naam jiska hai Vishu (sic)!”

For Sara Ali Khan’s character, Akshay wrote, “Ek ladkipyaar mein paagal Miliye Atrangi No. 1 Rinku se kal. #AtrangiRe trailer out tomorrow on @disneyplushotstar (sic).”

ABOUT ATRANGI RE

Atrangi Re, directed by Aanand L Rai, is a cross-cultural love story. It features Sara Ali Khan in a double role. She will be seen romancing Dhanush as well as Akshay in the film. Atrangi Re was scheduled to release on Valentine’s Day this year, but, as the shoot was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the film’s release date also got postponed. Now, it is all set to release on Disney+Hotstar.
