Mahesh Bhatt is celebrating his 73rd birthday today, September 20. A birthday bash was held for the filmmaker on the special occasion by his family members. Pooja Bhatt took to social media to share some glimpses from the celebration. Sharing photos of the birthday boy with her youngest daughter, Alia Bhatt, Pooja revealed that the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress was the setting girl for the party.

Alia Bhatt recently wrapped up her next film, Darlings. While fulfilling her work commitments, the actress is making sure to spare equal time for her family. On Sunday night, she organised a birthday party for her dad, Mahesh Bhatt, along with her family members. Pooja Bhatt shared two goofy pictures of Alia with Mahesh Bhatt and revealed that the actress was the setting girl for the party.

“The birthday boy.. But don’t miss the setting girl! (sic),” wrote Pooja Bhatt.

Coming back to Mahesh Bhatt, the filmmaker has four children – Pooja Bhatt, Rahul Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Alia Bhatt. Pooja and Rahul’s mom, Kiran Bhatt, is Mahesh’s first wife. Mahesh Bhatt later married Soni Razdan in 1986. The couple has two daughters, Shaheen and Alia.
