There are  20,010 vacancies in various departments towards which  Vijayawada State government has decided to get in candidates. Vacancies  are there in Group 1 , Group 2 , Group3 ,DSC, police and other departments .  Through the  Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) and the District selection Committee(DSC) the vacancies will be filled. Very soon the notification for the same will also be issued . On Tuesday Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu approved the proposal to take up the “mega recruitment “ drive.  The officials were directed to begin the process of recruitment and complete the same at the earliest . For all the vacancies in Zilla Parishad and MPP schools the government has proposed to fill it through  DSC. In all, 9,275 posts will be filled through the DSC. Of these, 1,100 posts are in municipal schools. There are 1,100 teacher posts to be filled in residential schools and the number is 650 in Social Welfare residential schools. Through the APPSC , the government would fill 1,035 posts in Colleges.
