Tamilnadu  has reported  a  fourth recent case of student suicide in the past couple of weeks . On Thursday  near Sivakasi  a  class 11 girl around 17 years hanged herself at  her house. The deceased  parents are daily wage labourers at cracker factory. The daughter tokk the extreme step when parents Kannan and Meera  had gone to work. Returning from school  the girl hung herself when she noticed her grandmother had stepped out. The incident came to light after  her grandmother returned . She was shocked to see her hanging  and her cries alerted the neighbours.Later the neighbours  informed the police. Police took the body to Sivakasi hospital for post – mortem  report is being awaited.  In cuddalore district on Monday a class 12 girl was found dead at her house. Reason being cited that her parents scolded her. In Thiruvallur district in early hours of monday  , a class 12 girl committed suicide in her hostel room  studying in a government aided school.  On July 13 ,  first such case was reported from Kallakurichi . Parents staged  protests ,even refused to take over the body  after  post – mortem as their daughter died in school  campus.
