Asian game latest updates:PV Sindhu wins silver

PV Sindhu finished runners-up in the women’s singles badminton final in the ongoing Asian Games 2018 after she lost to Chinese Taipei’s Tai Tzu Ying in straight games.

Sindhu came into this match with a poor head-to-head record against Tai, winning just three out of 12 matches. This was Tai’s 10th win against Sindhu across all competitions.

Even though Tai had the lead for most of the time, Sindhu fought valiantly in order to keep her dreams alive. Her chances of clinching the second game seemed alive when the score was 4-4, with the scores being level for the first time in the match.
