Taiwan-based technology major ASUS on Friday announced “ZenWatch 3″ in two strap variants. The ZenWatch 3 is the first ZenWatch model to feature a round case. The case is crafted from 316L stainless steel and is available in two finishes: Gunmetal and Silver. The leather variant is priced at Rs 18,999 and the rubber variant will cost Rs 17,599.

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and comes with more than 50 software watch faces that can be changed using the “ZenWatch Manager” smartphone app.

It features HyperCharge technology, which is said to charge the device 60 per cent in 15 minutes.

The Asus ZenWatch 3 features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display that has 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches. The display resolution is 400X400 with a pixel density of 287 ppi. It also has an activity tracker that would help achieve fitness goals.

The smartwatch will be available exclusively via Flipkart, with pre-orders starting for two of the three models from Friday itself.
