Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.7.0 update is now available for download on your Android phone and iPhone. The biggest addition to the game arriving with this update is Mirror World, which is a part of the content that Krafton announced in partnership with Riot Games to celebrate the release of Arcane on Netflix. Arcane is a new show based on League of Legends characters, four of which have made it to Battlegrounds Mobile India.

Mirror World is now available in Erangel, Sanhok, and Livik maps through an opening in the sky and you can enter it by using the Wind Wall on the ground. The moment you enter, you become one of the Arcane (and League of Legends) characters – Jinx, Vi, Jayce and Caitlyn, and get emotes, weapons, and abilities accordingly. But if you change your mind, you can change your character. Along with the marquee characters, monsters from League of Legends have also made their way to the game and you have to kill them.

Killing these monsters gives you “Hextech Crystals” that you can use to buy battle items. These crystals can also be found lying on the ground. But there is only so much time to collect them or kill monsters to get them in reward, because Mirror World is a timed event. If you die fighting monsters or if the event ends, you return to the normal battlegrounds.

The Battlegrounds Mobile India 1.7.0 update also brings additional features but they will be available later this month. The Classic Mode will get the piggyback feature that will let players carry knocked-out teammates, but carrying a teammate or even your enemy will slow your speed down and you will also not be able to use a weapon or a vehicle. Your HP will also see an impact when piggybacking someone. There are some weapon-related changes coming as well. The all-new grenade indicator will tell you the exact location of the grenade, while the updated weapon balance will affect SLR, SKS, mini14, VSS, and DP28.

After the Arcane event is over, players will gear up for Liverpool FC collaboration, which will bring several events including The Reds in the Event sections, like You’ll Never Walk Alone. Rewards during these events will include a Liverpool FC parachute, the Liverpool FC backpack and the much-coveted Liverpool FC jersey. There will be a Recall event where you can play with 8 friends and win Recall tokens, which can be exchanged for rewards such as the SCAR-L Malachite permanent item.
