More often than not, celebrities land in controversies for more reasons than one. In this week’s list of biggest controversies of the week, we have celebs like Sudhanshu Pandey, Rupali Ganguly, Rahul Raj Singh, Kumar Sanu and Ankita Lokhande who courted controversies for different reasons.

While Sudhanshu and Rupali made headlines for their rumoured rift, Ankita Lokhande was trolled for not wearing a mask. Rahul Raj Singh, on the other hand, grabbed the limelight for making shocking claims about ex-GF Pratyusha Banerjee’s death. Here’s a list of the biggest TV controversies of the week.

Sudhanshu and Rupali’s rumoured fallout

Earlier this week, an entertainment portal reported that the lead actors of Anupamaa, Sudhanshu Pandey and Rupali Ganguly, are at loggerheads with each other. The report suggested that when a promo of the show released online, Sudhanshu apparently did not tag Rupali in his Instagram post.

Rubbishing rumours of a cold war between them, Sudhanshu told ETimes, “These are such silly things that people create. I don’t even understand how their minds work. How will I achieve anything in my career by untagging someone?  When the show started, Rupali and I posted many videos together because we were married in the show. Now, I am married to Kavya (Madalsa Sharma), so obviously, to promote the track, we will post videos together.”

Ankita Lokhande trolled

A few days ago, Ankita Lokhande was spotted outside a film’s producer office. As the actress stepped out of the car, she was papped without a face mask. The moment her video surfaced online, netizens trolled the Pavitra Rishta actress for not following the COVID-19 protocol. One netizen wrote, “How few people are still not aware of wearing masks, that too in Maharashtra!!! Irresponsible to the core.” Another user penned, “No Mask??? WHY.”

Pratyusha Banerjee’s ex-BF’s shocking claims

Pratyusha Banerjee’s ex-boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh made shocking claims about her death. In an interview with Spotboye, he said, “They have their conscience and God to answer to. They know as well as I do that I am not guilty. They also know why they did all the tamasha.”

Kumar Sanu on Indian Idol 12 controversy

Following Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar’s Indian Idol 12 controversy, singer Kumar Sanu finally broke his silence on the matter. “The more gossip there is, the more will be the TRP. It’s understandable. It’s not a big deal. Talent finds its way and these shows bring out the talent. Not just Indian Idol, every such reality show serves to showcase talent before the public,” he told Hindustan Times.
