Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Class 10 Board Examinations 2022 Term 1 are underway. CBSE Class 10 Information Technology or IT Term 1 Paper would be conducted today – November 25, 2021. As per the information, more than 16 lakh students have registered for the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2022. Information Technology, or IT, is one of the more popular elective courses and has a large number of students enrolled.
This year, the board is conducting the examination in two terms or semesters. The Term 1 is in the MCQ or Multiple Choice Question format and covers 50% of the syllabus. The remaining 50% would be asked in Term 2 exams which would be conducted in the month of March-April 2022 and would be subjective in nature – depending on the situation.

For today’s paper, students would be required to fill the OMR sheets. The question papers are being sent by the board directly to the school in an encrypted forms. The schools would be required to download and print the papers just before the examination begins. This has been adapted to ensure the exam is conducted in a fair manner.

As for the examination itself, as per CBSE, students are required to reach the examination centres well in advanced. Entry to the exam centers would close at 10:45 am and the OMR sheets would be distributed by 11:00 am. Students would be given the question paper by 11:10 a.m and the examination would begin at 11:30 am. CBSE Class 10 Information Technology (IT) examination is for 30 marks and students would be given an hour to attempt the paper.
CBSE has issued strict instructions and guidelines in regards COVID protocol. No more than 12 students are permitted in a classroom. An external observer has also been allocated to schools to ensure proper conduct of the exam. Times Now wishes all students the best of luck.
