CBSE Class 12 English Exam: Students say paper lengthy

“It was an easy paper but very lengthy. It took me very long to read the paper but overall it was easy. Writing section was the easiest,” shared Sneha, a student of St. Mary’s school. Another student of Model School shared that the reading section was a bit confusing.

“There were multiple answers that could have been the right answer. It is difficult to make a language paper strictly objective. But yes it was easy.”

Teachers have not had the time to go through the paper in detail at present. The first reaction of teachers was that the length was expected. “In English paper there are a lot of paragraphs that have to be given in question paper, which makes the paper a bit lengthy. Literature section was confusing in a few instances, as far as I have seen. But relatively an easy paper,” shared Ms. Nanda, PGT English in a leading school.
