CFF team prepared for e-buses in chennai

The greenhouse gas emissions from the buses create many issues for the public. By electrifying the buses the greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced.

As per an official press release, a report was prepared by the CFF team regarding the operation of electrified buses or e-buses in Chennai city and this report was submitted to the state transport minister Mr. Vijayabhaskar.

Mr. Vijayabhaskar said that the cost of purchasing e-buses were high.It is interesting to note that a fully charged battery could make the bus run for 240km in a stretch and it could carry as many as 54 passengers.
