Chennai: Heavy rainfalls starts today

The Meteorological Survey said that the rains falls for 2 days in Tamilnadu and Puducherry in the suburbs of Chennai and suburbs areas.

Heavy rains started from midnight in different parts of Chennai city. Especially in koyampedu, Arumbakkam, Mukupher, KK Nagar, Thiruvottiyur, Thiruvallikainai, Royapettai and Vadapalani.

Water is stuck in roads and low lying areas due to rain falls, Puducherry also comes in the widespread rains since midnight. Rainwater flows into the lower regions due to heavy rainfall. There is heavy rainfall in areas including Uppalam, Beach Road, New bus stand Station
