Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming film Cold Case trailer was released by the actor on Twitter. The movie will be released on June 30 on Amazon Prime. 

The film is set to be a horror crime thriller film starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. Apart from him, the film also features actress Aditi Balan, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramoul, Gibin Gopinath, and Athmiya.

Actor Prithviraj released the trailer of Cold Case on his social media page. He tagged the co-stars in the film and wrote the tagline of the film, “There’s a lot more to the case than just evidence and facts.#ColdCase Trailer out now. Watch #ColdCaseOnPrime June 30, @PrimeVideoIN.”

The trailer shows that the film is about a police officer who tries to solve a mysterious case, filled with a lot of dead-spirits stories. Prithviraj appears as an ACP named Satyajith. He believes only in logic and nothing else. The trailer begins with a narration that says, “In this universe, illogical thoughts are more in number. There are undiscovered secrets as vast as the sea and also some questions that have no answers.” 

Immediately after this, Satyajith (Prithviraj) is introduced with a voice-over that asks about his character. The trailer takes you around from there to unearth some hints left by the killer. The trailer is cut in such a way that it creates curiosity. It seems like another promising thriller film is on its way from the Mollywood industry. Amazon Prime recently saw the release of Mohanlal’s Drishyam 2, which was a super hit thriller. Now Cold Case is all set to release on Amazon on June 30. 

Actress Adithi Balan has done a promising role, as we could see her throughout the trailer. This is her first Malayalam film. She was last seen playing a role in Aadal Paadal, a short scene from the anthology film Kutty Story.

Cold Case is directed by cinematographer-turned-director Tanu Balak, and the film is produced by Anto Joseph Films and Plan J Studios.

The movie was expected to release in the theater, but recently in an interview, producer Anto said that he is not sure if the theaters will be functioning with full occupancy, so he is planning to release both his films, Cold Case and Malik on OTT platforms.
