Deepika Padukone is one of the most talked-about heroines in India. According to reports, the actress is said to have bagged another big-budget South film. The actress is said to be in talks to play the female lead in director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film with Mahesh Babu. However, nothing has been finalised yet. Once the cast and crew are finalised, SS Rajamouli might hold an event just like he did for RRR before commencing the shoot.

DEEPIKA PADUKONE TO TEAM UP WITH MAHESH BABU AND SS RAJAMOULI?

Deepika Padukone is playing one of the lead roles in director Nag Ashwin’s Project K, which has Prabhas and Amitabh Bahcchan in lead roles. The shooting of the film is presently underway.

Reports have been rife that Deepika Padukone is likely to play the female lead in director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film with Mahesh Babu. According to reports, the makers are planning to make the film on a huge scale and distribute it to a wider audience. With this untitled film, SS Rajamouli is planning to go international.

An official confirmation is still awaited. SS Rajamouli is presently busy with the promotions of RRR in Japan. He will work on the film starting next year.

MAHESH BABU SAYS FILM WITH SS RAJAMOULI WILL BE PHYSICALLY DEMANDING

Mahesh Babu said that he is thrilled to work with SS Rajamouli on a film. The film is tipped to be an action adventure film on the lines of Indiana Jones.

In a media interaction, Mahesh Babu said, “Its a dream come true for me to work with him. Doing one film with Rajamouli garu is like taking up 25 films at once. It’s going to be physically demanding and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a pan-India film. I hope we break many barriers and take our work to audiences across the country.”

The Telugu-Hindi bilingual will be produced by KL Narayanan under his banner, Durga Arts.
