In Delhi Air quality has been marked in a very poor category. It deteriorated and marked down to the least level. On Monday with a gap of two days , the Air Quality Index was at 340 in the country’s Capital . The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has published reports.  The Air Quality Index in the IGI Airport is still at 344. In Anand Vihar area,  the AQI reached 376. At Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the AQI has been dipped to poor category of 355. Delhi’s 24 – hour average air Quality Index stood at 407. It was recorded at 4 pm.  The mercury level had reached 8 degree Celsius. It also again had dipped down.  The weather department has predicted that next week there’s a possibility of clear sky. Still for the next few days fog has been predicted.  From  Dec 6, it is expected to dip to 25 degree Celsius. By the end of this week , the minimum temperature is likely to fall to 7 degree Celsius. The next seven days there will be fog and shallow fog. A ban has been issued against non – essential construction activities. It is in a bid to prevent a further dip in AQI.
