Earthquake affected in Easter Island

There was a severe earthquake in Easter Island near Chile. Easter Island is located in the southeast of the Pacific Ocean.

About 7,000 people lives in the country’s census in Chile last year, according to the Census of 2017. A powerful earthquake occurred at 7.07 am local time here today.

The quake was recorded at 6.2 on the Richter scale. No immediate reports have been made about the impacts.No information has been released about whether the tsunami warning was issued after the earthquake.
