Education Minister of India, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, has welcomed Supreme Court’s order on CBSE Class 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021. He thanked the Court for recommending the policy and procedure for Class 12 results prepared by the Central Board of Secondary Education. The policy has been prepared after an extensive consultation with all the stakeholders.

In today’s hearing, the Supreme Court of India has accepted CBSE’s 30:30:40 evaluation criteria. The Court suggested the Board to incorporate three other essential aspects for the benefit of the students. The final order on CBSE Class 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021 would be passed on Monday, June 21, 2021.

The Tweet from the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank says, “To prepare the result of class XII students, many thanks to the Supreme Court of India for recommending the policy and procedure.” He further added that the Board has adopted the policy after an extensive consultation with all the stakeholders, which is in the interest of the students.

CBSE Class 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021:

As per the CBSE Class 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021, 30% weighted average of the three best theory marks of Class-X, 30% weightage for Class-XI theory and 40% weightage for Class-XII theory will be considered. The practical marks obtained by the students will be taken as it is. Students who are not satisfied with their result under this policy will be given an opportunity to appear in the board examination when the situation is conducive.

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank finally added that the government is committed to the interests and bright future of all the stakeholders related to education in every situation. Supreme Court has asked the Board to include a few other important aspects to the policy before the next hearing. The next hearing on CBSE Class 12 Evaluation Criteria 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on Monday, June 21, 2021.
