On Wednesday in Indore there was a severe on road protest . Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming Bollywood film Pathaan and its song Besharam Rang had opposition. Madhya Pradesh’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra had called for a ban on the movie. It was due to the use of Saffron costumes and for over objectionable scenes. As per PTI report at a road intersection, effigies of actors Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan were burnt by the the activists of Veer Shivaji Group. The movie is all come to the screens in Jan 2023 so they have also demanded a ban on the movie. The lyrics and the song have offended the Hindu Community according to them. It is one of the most eagerly awaited movies of 2023 and it’s first song Besharam Rang dropped recently. It became a sensational topic after Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra commented about the colour of the attire of Padukone and lead actor Shah Rukh Khan. He called for rectification. If certain scenes are not corrected Minister said he will decide about the screening of the movie in Madhya Pradesh. In October Mishra had informed the producers of the film legal action will be followed if any scenes are there showing Hindu religion in an odd way.
