The Esports Premier League (ESPL) by India Today Gaming has just signed Indian actor and Bollywood star Tiger Shroff as its brand ambassador for ESPL 2021. The ESPL 2021 powered by Infinix smartphone will kick off on June 16th with the finale to be played on August 29th, 2021.

India’s first-ever franchise-based Esports league, the Esports Premier League (ESPL) by India Today Gaming has just signed Indian actor and Bollywood star Tiger Shroff as its brand ambassador for ESPL 2021. The ESPL 2021 powered by Infinix smartphone will kick off on June 16th with the finale to be played on August 29th, 2021.

The ESPL 2021 is also the first-ever esports tournament to sign an Indian actor as the face of the tournament. The Esports Premier League 2021 is a multi-city Free Fire tournament that will feature a prize pool of Rs 25,00,000 and over 700 online matches. The ESPL will be one of India’s largest events to date and will run for 3 months to tap into the growing landscape of esports in the country. With this partnership, India Today Gaming (the people behind ESPL) and related parties aim to nurture an ecosystem that will provide a massive boost to the Indian Esports industry and its viewership.

Talking about the partnership Bollywood Star, Tiger Shroff said: “I am really excited to collaborate with Esports Premier League. ESPL 2021 will be played exclusively on India Today Gaming’s in-house esports platform and will feature Free Fire as its main game. With over 700 online matches to be played out over 2.5 months, ESPL will stream over 300 hours of gaming content.
