On Sunday night, October 3, Salman Khan was spotted arriving at Shah Rukh Khan’s bungalow, Mannat, in Bandstand, Mumbai. Reportedly this was a friendly visit after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained and arrested SRK’s son Aryan Khan earlier in the day. Aryan’s arrest was in connection with the drug bust on Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship that took place on Saturday night. Apart from Aryan, Arbaaz Seth Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha were also arrested. All the three accused in the drug bust case have been remanded to NCB custody till Monday, October 4. The three accused will be presented in court today. Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has also said that he will apply for bail for his client.
SALMAN KHAN WANTED TO CHECK ON SRK
It was a late-night surprise visit for Salman Khan, who decided to land up at Mannat and meet his friend Shah Rukh Khan. Salman, who just returned from Austria after wrapping up a long schedule for the next film, Tiger 3, was keeping a close watch on the developments surrounding SRK’s son Aryan Khan’s detainment and subsequent arrest by NCB officials.
ARYAN KHAN’S 1-DAY NCB CUSTODY ENDS TODAY
After a long round of questioning, Aryan Khan was arrested earlier today by the NCB on October 3. Aryan was booked under Sections 8(c), 20(b), 27 and 35 of the NDPS Act. After Sunday’s hearing, Aryan Khan and 2 others were granted one-day NCB custody till Monday, October 4. Satish Maneshinde, who represented Aryan Khan, said, “I am filing a bail application for my client, Aryan Khan. I can file it anytime.” Therefore Aryan’s custody ends today, it is to be seen if the NCB demands an extension and if Aryan will get bail. The NCB had earlier said that they won’t seek further police custody of Aryan Khan.
