Today is a day of celebration for all Vijay fans. The audio of Thalapathy’s upcoming film, Varisu, will be released today, December 24. The launch is at 5pm, but fans can hardly keep calm. Now, videos of fans chanting Thalapathy’s name ahead of the launch are going viral on social media.

FANS EXCITED FOR VARISU’S AUDIO LAUNCH

Thalapathy fans had eagerly been waiting for Varisu’s audio launch, which will be taking place on December 24 at 4 pm. Ahead of the launch, fans enthusiastically queued up outside the venue. There are hundreds of them, all chanting Thalapathy’s name. See the video here:

Another video of the venue is also doing the rounds. The stage seems to be all set for the big event. The launch is happening at Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Here’s the video:

FANS COMPLAINED OF HIGH TICKET PRICES

The passes for the audio launch were distributed to district heads after conducting a meeting at Vijay’s Panaiyur office. Reports suggest that these passes were given to fans at free cost. However, a section of people have been selling the audio launch tickets at exorbitant rates. The rates vary from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. Many of them took to Twitter to share their grievances.

Varisu is a full-fledged commercial flick with emotional elements. Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna play lead roles in the film, while Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, SJ Suryah, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Anandraj, Sangeetha and Khushbu will be seen in supporting roles. Produced by Dil Raju, the film has music composed by S Thaman, cinematography and editing by Karthik Palani and Praveen KL, respectively. It will release on Pongal and clash with Ajith’s Thunivu.
