Afire broke out in the famous Bardahiya Bazar in Sant Kabir Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday. At least a dozen garment shops were burned in the fire, causing a huge loss to the traders.

After receiving the information, three fire tenders were called to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is yet to be known.

SDM Naveen Srivastava reached the spot and took stock of the situation. He said the fire was brought under control and there was no loss of life.
