Fire broke out in Sathyamangalam Tiger reserve area

Erode: A fire broke out in Sathyamangalam Tigers protective area. There are 7 wildlife sanctuaries in the Tiger reserve area with a total area of 1428 sq km.

A fire broke out in the thick forest in the kambathrayan mountain range under Sathyamangalam forest fire.

Many trees have been damaged. Forest officials are fighting to extinguish the fire. The fire department is engaged in the fireworks with the help of the public from surrounding villages. With more than 50 people trying to extinguish the fire, most parts of the fire have come under fire.
