Fire workers strike in virudhunagar

Virudhunagar: The black flag is being staged in Virudhunagar district for demanding action taken by the state governments to protect the livelihood of fireworks workers.

More than eight lakh people working in 600 fire crackers industry at Sivakasi. The court has imposed a number of restrictions on the grounds that the environmental pollution has been damaged by fireworks.

Fireworks have been closed for the past one month in Sivakasi and surrounding areas to demolish barriers to crackers.
